The pilot and his Kingfisher

As a bona fide pilot...it is so natural to love the Kingfisher...LOL
There must be a deeper story to it..i am intrigued..

I was listening to Elvis Costello's "Watching the Detectives". Good song about sluething...
The connection is a natural one. Kingfishers are one of the most widely spread species on the planet, occupying every major continent save the arctic and antarctic regions. They are beautiful, useful, and superb aviators. They have happy laughing voices. Pretty good fishermen too!
