Go Fly Kite!

Back in Singapore again...for the Chinese New Year ! Really hate the freaky weather back home! Give me the cold in Dubai any time! Anyway, managed to catch a sneak preview of "The Kite Runner"movie with some friends...highly anticipated all over the world. Based on the book with the same title by Khaled Hosseini. A great read....a page turner...finished it in 2 nights. Absolutely heart wrenching storyline.

It was a good adaptation...love the musical score!

Nowadays, you need a special event to fly a kite...throw in some big sponsors....etc In those days, you can fly one as and when you like. As for me, Im doing my best to keep the tradition alive. At least when some idiots get into my nerves, I can simply tell them in the face " Go Fly Kite!"
